Light Up the Road: G20 LED Headlights for a Beautiful, Modern Ride

BMW G20 LED DRL Upgrades: Choosing the Right Look

BMW G20 3 Series owners can personalize the appearance of compatible factory headlights with daytime running light (DRL) upgrades. BavGruppe Designs offers DRL board options, including CSL-inspired yellow and multicolor configurations, depending on the specific product and factory headlight type. A DRL board upgrade is not the same as replacing the entire headlight assembly.

DRLs Versus Low-Beam Headlights

Daytime running lights help make a vehicle more conspicuous during the day. Changing the DRL color or style does not automatically increase low-beam brightness, nighttime road illumination or driving performance. Those functions depend on the headlight’s optical system and components.

CSL Yellow and RGBW Options

CSL-inspired yellow DRLs offer a distinctive motorsport-influenced look. Select compatible RGBW options may offer additional colors and controls. The features, controller requirements and installation procedure depend on the exact kit selected; review the product description before ordering.

Compatibility and Installation

G20 model years and factory headlight configurations vary. Confirm your vehicle’s year and existing headlight type before choosing a DRL board kit. Installation may require opening the headlight assembly and is not necessarily a simple external plug-in procedure.

In-House Custom Builds

BavGruppe also performs custom headlight builds. Our in-house builds preserve factory adaptive headlight functionality where it is present in the original compatible assembly. Complete aftermarket replacement headlights are different products and require their own compatibility checks.
