BMW S55 Chargecooler Machined Aluminum Covers – M2 M3 M4 Models

We are please to announce our Chargecooler aluminium cover for the F80/F82/F83/F87 BMW M cars with the S55 engine. This product will fit all S55 M2, M3 and M4 charge coolers.

BMW’s S55 is generally very well laid out and beautiful to look at, including its carbon fiber strut brace and engine cover.  However BMW completely neglected to dress up the charge cooler.   Fortunately this product addresses that issue with a beautiful aluminum piece that perfectly overlays over the top of the chargecooler!

FAQ’s:

Will this reduce the chargecooler effectiveness?
The chargecooler is NOT a top-mounted intercooler. As a result it does not rely on cool-air flow, therefore the cover has no effect on this system.

How secure is the cover?  Will it detach over time?  
The 3M tape we use is designed to withstand extreme heat, and adheres even more strongly with heat from the surrounding engine bay. The chargecooler itself does not get very hot but the shape of the cover conforms to the chargecooler – that combined with the engine bay heat will prevent the cover from loosening.
